Tracy Charles is a character who first appeared in the Barney Home Video, "Can You Sing That Song?". She was portrayed by Victoria Lennox. Tracy made her television debut in Season 10 and she remained on the TV series until Season 13.

- Tracy is of African-American descent like Derek, Tosha, Ashley, Alissa, Keesha, Whitney, and Jackson.
- She has always wanted to see a tropical island (and she did in "A Bird of a Different Feather: Hawaii".)
- She is also good friends with Ben.
- She has the same skills as Sarah: she is also a good painter.

- Prior to making Lennox's debut as Tracy in "Can You Sing That Song?", she had a cameo appearance in "Now I Know My ABCs", during the song, "I Am Learning to Spell My Name", writing the words Alex before officially auditioning for the role in 2004.
- Lennox was also the announcer who did the introduction speech for the segment of "Barney's Music Box".
- Tracy is the oldest kid kept on the show alongside Stephen and David.
