Tim Dever is the actor who voiced Barney from 2000-2002. In most cases, Dever shared the role with Duncan Brannan . Brannan would sing, and Dever would supply Barney's speaking voice. In 1999, Bob West had Dever do the speaking voice of Barney to film Super Singing Circus on the day that he decided to take a day off.
