Talk:I Love You

In the trivia section, when it is referenced that "I Love You" is often parodied by elementary school children, I think it is a bit biased. While I agree with the statement made, I think that by reading the statement, the opinions of the writer of the statement are quite obvious. 99.199.6.50 05:02, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
I couldn't agree more. I really want to keep this site's articles unbiased, despite being a Barney fan site, so thanks for beinging that to my attention. -- SonicHOG 05:06, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
Drew. Why Was The Barney Song I Love You Got Sued By Who? Jeremyallencrispo 23:38, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
The publishers of Lee Bernstein's book (the one where I Love You debuted) sued Lyons and the writer in 1994, but of course, Lyons made a settlement with Bernstein back in 1992. SonicHOG 20:41, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
I wish there was never a lawsuit over the I Love You song, cause I wanted to hear Barney sing it in Barney Live In New York City, Barney's Imagination Island, and I wanted to hear it in the Barney's Favorites Vol. 2 CD. (The 1993 version.)
Actually, Barney's Favorites Vol. 2 was released in 1994. Lyons (now owned by HIT) couldn't do a thing about it and to be safe (and also to keep the special and the Radio City show's identities separate from the television show), they didn't include I Love You. Besides, the 1993 version (well, the shortened 1992 one used in 1993) was on Vol. 1. - SonicHOG 11:12, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
I like the version that was used in episodes such as May I Help You, I Can Do That, My Favorite Things, Stop Look & Be Safe, and other Season 2 episodes that have it. Whats your favorite version?
By the way I'm Kevin.
OK, thanks Kevin. Personally, I like the I Love You from Season 1 (and especially the shortened version of that in Season 2), but I like most versions of the song. Oh, and I'm Drew. Sorry if I've been a little hard on you here. - SonicHOG 14:50, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
It's cool.
--69.136.239.199 17:45, 18 August 2009 (UTC) And they also shortened it in Season 3.
It's pretty odd the Lyons got sued by Lee Bernstin. And by the way the only special that DID have the I Love You song is "Barney Celebrates Children". Rodney :10, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
--173.73.13.153 00:49, September 30, 2009 (UTC) What's your favorite version of the song Rodney?
I don't have a favorite version of this song, but I might like them all. Rodney 1:00, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
How was the 1992 version of the song "shortened" on the 1993 episodes and on "Barney's Favorites Vol. 1"? Alex1996 00:23, March 27, 2010 (UTC)
Between the first and last verse of the song, the instrumental music in between was shortened. Barneyandhisfriends 13:46, March 27, 2010 (UTC)
Don't forget a different version from near the end of Barney's Super Singing Circus, Barney's Good Day & Good Night, & Barney In Outer Space.
I like the the I love You Christmas version from Waiting for Santa.24.4.109.47 01:11, September 29, 2012 (UTC)
