Edit
- Six little ducks that I once knew
- Fat ones, skinny ones, fair ones too
- But the one little duck with a feather on his back
- He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
- Quack, quack, quack! quack, quack, quack!
- He led the others with a *bark, bark, bark*
- No, Barney!!
- Down to the river they would go,
- Wibble-wobble, wibble-wobble, to and fro
- But the one little duck with a feather on his back
- He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
- Quack, quack, quack! quack, quack, quack!
- He led the others with a *cock-a-doodle-doo*
- No, Barney!!
- Home by the river they would come,
- Wibble-wobble, wibble-wobble ho hum hum
- But the one little duck with a feather on his back
- He led the others with a quack, quack, quack.
- Quack, quack, quack! quack, quack, quack!
- He led the others with a *quack, quack, quack*
- He led the others with a quack, quack, quack
Trivia
Edit
- Beginning with the episode Grown-Ups for a Day!, the song is known as "Ducks That I Once Knew." And in that episode, the song was reduced to Four Little Ducks, but in Twice Is Nice!, it was reduced to Five Little Ducks.
- The 1988 audio was used again in "Rock with Barney", "Down on Barney's Farm" and the companion album, "Barney's Favorites".
- In "The Backyard Show", "Rock with Barney", and "Down on Barney's Farm", whenever Barney would goof up the animal sounds (barking or crowing instead of quacking), the kids would be heard pointing it out by saying "No, Barney!" to him until near the end, Barney gets it right.
