Sita is a character who only appeared in the home video Celebrating Around The World. She was portrayed by Eisha Rastogi Fremerman.
During her appearance in Celebrating Around The World, Sita explains that she celebrates Diwali, which is a festival of lights in India. She, alongside another character by the name of Priya, showed Barney and his friends the way in which they celebrate Diwali during their visit within the home video. Sita showcased a dance to celebrate Diwali to Barney and his friends during their time in India. Sita really likes the dances at Diwali though her favorite part of Diwali is the music.
Sita is seen to be very close to another character that appeared in the video by the name of Priya. She doesn't always get along with Priya, as they sometimes argue, but they always work it out, further correlating to the meaning of the festival. One thing they do agree on is is their other favorite part of the festival is watching the fireworks.
During Sita's appearance in Celebrating Around The World, she was glad that Barney and his friends could share the celebration with her and Priya.
