Salim Grant (born Salim Dolphine Ulysses Grant on May 26, 1977 in TX) is a former child actor who played the character Jason in the first three Barney & the Backyard Gang videos before being replaced by Rickey Carter as Derek. According to Bob West, Salim was upset during the filming of the Barney & the Backyard Gang videos which lead him to leave the set.

Salim appeared in a commercial for Sesame Street when he was 4 years old. When he was 5, he appeared in several theater productions with a local children's group called Too Short for Prime Time. He was also in the 1990 Bill Cosby movie, Ghost Dad. He starred as R.J. "Hollywood" Collins on Saved by the Bell: The New Class from 1995 to 1996.

Salim has a younger sister, Crystal Celeste Grant, who was also an actress. He has guest-starred on television shows such as Family Matters, Thea, Sister, Sister, Salute Your Shorts, Boy Meets World, Between Brothers, Captain Jackson, That's Life, and The Parkers. He also appeared in the movies The Hitman, Angus, L.A. Confidential, Witchcraft, and the television movie, What About Your Friends: Weekend Getaway.
