My Party with Barney is a personalized Barney Home Video that was released on April 10, 1998 by Kideo. A parent/child who wished to purchase this video had to send in a photo of the child and said child's name, and as the previews said "[they would] do the rest."

Does your child love to watch Barney? If so, now your child can star with Barney in the first ever personalized Barney home video, My Party with Barney. The Barney video that makes your child a star. Your child actually stars on screen with Barney again and again and Barney says your child's name. In the video, Barney, Baby Bop, and BJ throw a surprise birthday party for your child and even interact with him or her. My Party with Barney is the recipient of the Kid's First endorsement from the Coalition for Quality Children's Media, signifying that the video is developmentally sound, creatively stimulating, and demonstrates positive modeling behavior for children.

- This video marked:
- The first video in which Barney is voiced by Duncan Brannan. He previously voiced him during Season 4 once Bob West left production to film Barney's Great Adventure, but soon returned to dub over his lines.
- The only video to have its runtime shorter than approximately 30 or 50 minutes unlike all the other Barney video releases which contain that same duration.
- The first appearance of the season five Barney costume.
- Although Barney was voiced by Duncan Brannan for this video, his singing vocals were provided by Bob West.
- Throughout April 1998, this video was packaged with a personalized book with stickers, called Barney's Alphabet Adventure Book, a 24 page story that also starred the child in the video. It could also be purchased separately after 1998.
- Also unique to the 1998 release was the VHS tape itself being purple as opposed to the usual black or white tape.
- A short-lived DVD version of the video was released in 2007. In the 2007 version, all Kideo crew members were removed from the credits.
- After "Colors All Around", when Barney, Baby Bop, and BJ were going down the stairs, BJ accidentally steps on Barney’s tail twice.
