My Family's Just Right For Me is an original Barney song about how families can be different, but each family is still very special. It debuted in the episode of the same name, and almost has the same melody of I Can Laugh, The N Game, and The Clapping Song.

Lyrics
Edit
- [Chorus]
- Oh, a family is people and a family is love.
- That's a family.
- They come in all different sizes and different kinds,
- But mine's just right for me.
- Yeah, mine's just right for me.
- I've got a friend who lives with his mom and dad,
- With his brother and his sister, too.
- They've got a cat and a dog and a pet bullfrog
- And I'm really glad they do.
- [Repeat Chorus]
- There's a girl I know who lives with her mom.
- Her dad lives far away.
- Although she sees her parents just one at a time
- They both love her everyday.
- [Repeat Chorus]
- I know a boy who's new, he just moved in.
- He moved from Alabama.
- And the person who's the head of his family,
- is his loving, dear old gramma.
- [Repeat Chorus]

Edit
- Starting in A Very Special Delivery, the first & second original verses of this song are sung together (most of the time). On the personalized CD, "Sing Along with Barney & Friends," the song retains the chorus break between the verses that was originally sung.
- In the Season 5 home video Sing and Dance with Barney, the verse about the new boy who moved from Alabama was sung right after the verse about the girl and her separated parents without the regular chorus being sung.
