Miss Etta Kette is a character appearing in Season 4-6 of "Barney & Friends". She is a birdie who speaks with a Southern accent and lives in the tree with Scooter McNutty. Her name is a play on the word Etiquette. She was puppeteered and voiced by Brice Armstrong. She usually gives very good advice, and bad things happen to those who don't need her advice. An example of this occurrence was in the episode, "Circle of Friends", when Miss Etta tells BJ that she hopes that he doesn't eat too many pancakes, because if he does, it might give him a tummy-ache, and that was exactly what happened.
