Jaren Lewison (born December 9, 2000[1] in Dallas, Texas) is an American actor, best known for his role as Ben Gross in the 2020 Netflix series, Never Have I Ever. He began his acting career on the children's television series Barney & Friends, portraying Joshua in seasons twelve, thirteen and additional home videos afterwards.

Lewison was in first grade when he portrayed the role of Joshua on Barney & Friends. Before starting the show, Lewison participated in Barney Camp, a time for the child actors to get to know the performers who played the dinosaurs, and got to try on the Barney costume.
Being on Barney & Friends taught Lewison a lot about the entertainment industry, including how to memorize lines and interact with co-stars.[2]
On Lewison's last episode, the crew allowed him to sign his name on a set piece of set from Barney & Friends under Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato who portrayed Gianna and Angela respectively.[3]
