- Darnell was one of two kids in Barney's Christmas Star that did not continue their role into Season 7 of Barney & Friends, with the other being Kevin. According to Katherine Pully, either the filming schedule was impossible to maintain with the actor's school responsibilities or he only auditioned just to appear in the video.[1]
