Nolan Blake Garrett (born on September 14, 1992 in Austin, Texas) is a former American child actor. He is known for portraying the role of Plug in the comedy film How to Eat Fried Worms. Prior to his role in the film, he has appeared in numerous local productions, including the lead roles of the magician in Aladdin and his Magical Lamp and as Charlie Brown in "Peanuts: A Charlie Brown Tribute". Other credits in the theater include "The Wizard of Oz", "Annie", and "Grease". One of his earliest acting roles was portraying the role of Mike in the international tour of Barney's Colorful World! from 2003 to 2004.

Garrett has already won an award for his outstanding performance in his one and only movie How to Eat Fried Worms as Plug. Other projects include a featured role in Little Flower, and also a pilot episode of the TV show Inconceivable.

Garrett's agent landed him an audition for the tour in Dallas, Texas. During Garrett's audition, there were 100 boys and girls chosen to audition for the roles of "Mike", "Donny", "Sarah", and "Gina". The next day after the audition, Garrett received a call to be notified that he booked of the role of "Mike".[1]

Barney's Colorful World[]

Garrett was ten years old when he started being on tour for Barney's Colorful World. Garrett portrayed "Mike" during the original run of Barney's Colorful World from September 2003 until December 2004.
