El Parque Musical de Barney y sus Amigos (or O Parque Musical do Barney e seus Amigos in Brazil) is a stage show that was written by Pablo Alejandro Glattli and Esteban Grossy Paradela with songs in the show written by various individuals. It was the first original live tour production based on Barney & Friends to be based outside the US and to take place in Latin America.

The show premiered in Argentina in 2004 and performed in other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean throughout 2004 to 2006. Also, from 2006 to 2007, the show performed in Brazil.[1] The show was attended by more than one hundred twenty thousand children.[2]

Plot[]

At the beginning of the show, a man with balloons and four children makes magical things happen by using their imagination. From there, Barney springs to life from a stuffed doll into a full-sized dinosaur due to the children using their imagination. Following Barney’s entrance, the show takes places in an amusement park as Barney and his friends sing and dance to various songs.
