Barney's Fun and Games is a Barney Home Video that was released on May 21, 1996.
Plot[]
It's games galore as Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, and their friends try to activate Barney's spectacular Game Machine. Apparently, it's empty, and needs to be filled with lots of playthings before it will work. The group collects toys from games they've played and adds them to the Game Machine until it explodes into action! The most fantastic game board appears and allows the children and dinos to participate in the best game day ever!

Trivia[]
- This video marked:
- The final time Barney and the kids (along with BJ and Baby Bop) sang both verses of the song, "I Love You". Starting with Barney's 1-2-3-4 Seasons, Barney singing the first verse by himself was made permanent.
- The first Barney Home Video to feature The Barney Bag. The next one would be Barney's Good Day, Good Night.
- The first video to contain clips of the video during the opening which would later be seen on several subsequent Barney Home Video releases.
- The first appearance of the 1996 BJ costume.
- The only time "Silly Sounds" was not sung in E major.
- The tape recorder Min uses to record Baby Bop's voice is a Playskool PS-475 Boombox Radio Tape Recorder.
- The early prints featured the The Baby Bop Hop listed on the back cover but it was not sung in the video. When the tape was reprinted in 1998 it was later removed from the song list. When the VHS was re-released in 2000, the song was put back in the song list.
- On the cover of the Spanish dub of this video (La Maravillosa Máquina de Juegos (translated in English as The Marvelous Game Machine)) it incorrectly lists "The Baby Bop Hop" (or Saltando con Baby Bop) on the song list (Presumably a goof on Tycoon's (Then at the time Spanish distributors) part since the dub came out a few years after the video got produced and released).
- The cover spines in the early prints have the 1995 Barney Home Video Logo while later reprints uses the 1996 logo.
Characters[]
- This video marked:
- The only appearance of Jesse.
- The first appearance of Kristen, and the only time she appeared with Min and Jason.
- The final regular appearance of Min, until she returns in the 10th anniversary special, Sing and Dance with Barney, and Read with Me, Dance with Me.
Errors[]
- On the screener and the original 1996 VHS, Joseph Phillips and Tony Peugh are credited in the "Original 'Fun & Games' Music" section of the end credits. Starting with the 1997 UK VHS, the end credits are fixed so David Bernard Wolf is the person who is credited in the "Original 'Fun & Games' Music" section of it.
