Baa, Baa, Black Sheep is an English nursery rhyme, the earliest surviving version of which dates from 1731. This song first appeared in "E-I-E-I-O".
It is another English version of the French song, "Ah! vous dirai-je, Maman", and uses the same tune as the “Alphabet Song” and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.
